At the dawn of Prohibition in January 1920, Fluttershy, treasurer of Ponyville County, hatches a scheme to make herself and her associates very rich by bootlegging apple liquor, entering into business with Arnold Rarity and Charlie "Scootaloo" Scootalino. Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy's former protégé, returns from fighting in Pony World War I with ambitious ideas about her future and she forges an unlikely alliance that could have serious consequences for both her and Fluttershy.
