One of numerous chic and slightly boring Moravia's adaptations, where idle and rich people desperately try to communicate through a lot of analytic talk and a little sex.
Through the magic of overdubbing, actors from Italy, France and the USA impersonate that impossibility to express oneself. Moravia was a famous writer, but also very short-sighting.
Anyway, this movie is saved by a great cinematography, and the natural beauty of Italian landscapes, not forgetting a plush villa. Not much more to mention.
