>You are Anon, generic 19 year old male who is walking home from a fun night out with a few mates downtown. >It's a still night out, and not a very cold one either, quite gladly. >You fling your jacket over your shoulder with one arm and keep the other in your right pocket. >It was always worth walking back home from your favorite pub, wide streets made it feel spacey. >Not to mention it allowed the fresh midnight wind brush across your face. >Perfect. >Chucking on some tunes from your phone, you chuck some earphones on and click to the first song in the playlist. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VqrOrtNRT4 [Embed] >Throwing your head back once more, being sure not to knock those little fuckers in your ears out, you take another glance at the midnight moon. >Briefly stopping in between the overhanging streetlights, you take the sky in once again. >Stars; shining bright, the moon; offering the ever-loving glow of white light on your skin. Really makes you think more about the universe. >Shaking it off, again, you set off down the left-hand road as you near your dorm. >That is, before something catches your eye. >You weren't absolutely certain, but what you can only assume to be a bright flash of light streaked across the line of trees in front of your view, just past the T-intersection. >Not at a fast pace either, more of a slow shift like a leaf would do falling to the ground, but... horizontal. >Blaming your mind for it being some really big truck, with really high lights, traveling at extremely fast speeds, you hesitantly place one foot after the other. >That was wei- >Just when you think it was all over, the bright light passes your view again, parting the treeline, directly in front. >Its as if someone threw fog lights on the trees in front to fuck with whoever was unfortunate to take this path, but fog lights don't hover... >Nope, your not doing this paranormal shit at midnight half-drunk, you're way too sober for this shit. >Forgetting about any sense of alertness, you start to backpedal a bit, before the 'orb', would you call it, becomes brighter. >As if it turned around. >This is when you had to throw your arms up to defend your eyes from the sudden pain of light. >Peeking through your hands, you find the orb, which you have now found out has a slight tiny of sky-blue, make a slow approach in your direction. >It was still a good 200m out, but it was fast enough. >And the second you throw your arms down to start running, everything stops. If only for a second. >And as if you were in a spaceship, about to hit the hyper=drive, everything around you started to shift and stretch forwards and it focused on the light. >You could do nothing but stay there, stuck in motion. >Then it all zooms forward, as the orb is propelled towards your location at speeds unparalleled. >Blackout. >You are Anon; you think, and your head hurts, fucking BAD. >Eyes closed, you don't even bother to try and open them. Instead wanting to just lie on you back for all eternity. >You try and recall what the hell happened before you 'woke up'. That being said, you don't really want to move in the first place. >The ground feels soft, and prickly, like grass. And judging by the redness coming through your eyelids, you're facing the sun. >Alright, probably time to open them sight balls of yours. >Slowly, your eyelids part, and you are greeted with a sky. A nice, baby-blue sky with clouds as white as the French flag. >Now, this doesn't solve as many questions as it does raise, but this will suffice. >... >No, no it fucking won't, why is it day and why are you lying on grass.. >Thinking back to the pain in your head, you try and recall some memories of the past 10 minutes. >Nothing. >Despite your best efforts of just lying motionless and breathing slightly, you haven't come up with anything of your past. Just your name, and your... "ARGH", you throw yourself up in frustration. >Not paying much attention to the ground, you close your eyes, again. >Who /are/ you? >Try as you might, there is still, no answer. >Fuck it, best to figure out where the hell you are. >Maybe jump-start that good 'ol memory of yours. >Shifting attention to a red-tinged void in your head, you once again bathe in the light of the sun and give a brief look around. >A quick left-right glance shows that you are on top of a hill, or, on the side of one near the top. >Great, not much fucking hell is there. >Bringing your arm up to wipe your brow, you recoil at the sight of a large scaly arm, deep shade of grey in colour approaching the position of your arm. >Throwing yourself backwards, you look away and also yank your right limb and hug yourself tightly. >Whatever that was, you're fucking dead, because with an arm like that, the beast has got to be behind you. >Seconds pass and your shaking hasn't provided much of anything really. >Squinting your eyes, all is clear in front. >Still scared for your life, you whip your head around behind your position. >Nothing, again. >Nope, this is fucked. >Where, what. >Spacing both your arms out, you catch the movement of another arm detailing the same as the last one whip around from the left. >Making sure to follow it, you trace it back to your body. >N.O.P.E >Looking at the scaly addition to your body, you throw your head back in scared confusion. >This isn't you. Whatever 'you' is. This isn't familiar in the slightest. >Looking down, you get a similar result. Albeit with more detail. >A deep grey shade runs from your arms to your feet. >And.. you just noticed this now. At the end of your arms are some claws, or talons. Some freaky shit you don't know. >Same with your feet, too. >Continuing the trend of "Help, what the fuck is wrong with me" you notice a big bulge in the center of your vision. >Stemming from your face? >Your right arm comes up to inspect it, and you scare yourself with the unusual limb - again. >But as you extend a claw to tap the lump of whatever, your head bobs down with it. >Breathing a sigh of query, a small, but noticable, stream of vapours(?) escape the end. >Hang on, this thing is your nose? Or, snout would seem better. >This doesn't add up for any of you. >20 minutes have passed, and the more you explore, well, 'you'. The more you surprise yourself. >A tail extending from the back of your pelvis out a good meter or two, two horn things on your head. >Oh, and you can burp some sort of blue/black flames, but in a more condensed fashion. >And to top it all off, accents of a dark, somewhat reflective blue accompany your charcoal scales. >In an eerie sense of emotion, you feel a bit... empowered. but you just don't /feel/ it, feel it. >"What is all this". you ask yourself in a sulky tone. >What follows is the instantaneous reaction of pupils decreasing in size by approximately 70%. Oh, and your hands come to cover your mouth also in quick succession. >That didnt sound right. >A whimper of a breath escapes your mouth and it sounds... lighthearted? >Surely it should sound deeper, right? "W-what." Same result. >No doubt about it, you're quite the feminine person. >And this seems out of place. Are you a female? Your mind is still not letting you know. >There has to be a reason behind this shit. You KNOW that you know what you are supposed to know. >What the fuck did you just think. >Regardless, questioning everything here isnt going to help you progress any further wherever you are. >Remembering the hill statement from earlier, you glance up at the direction of the top of the hill. >Well, if there is nothing but forest on this side, what are you gonna loose by venturing over the other? >Letting out a sigh of defeat, you make your way to the top, grumbling. >Pulling yourself up the slightly steep hill, you finally catch the terrain of the other side of the hill. >And, you didn't really expect what was to follow. >A town, or village, lying perfectly surrounded by mostly flat plains. >It looked quite humble, you must say. >You wanted to get a better look by going down to see who inhabits such a place, but a sudden shock to yourself finds your eyes adjusting to such distance. >Like an eagle, your eyes manage to home in with great detail to the small town, finding the inhabitants to be... ponies? >Not only that, but their mouths seem to be moving as if they were also talking? >Considering you are a dragon, and can also talk, this didn't seem all that weird. >Shaking it off, you make the decision that would judge your fate in this new, erm, 'form' of yours. >That is, you need to actually find what you were previously. "Argh..." you mumble, the slight throbbing of your head signaling again not to think of such a question. >Deciding against just sitting here spying some unfortunate 4-legged colourful horses, you want to make yourself become known. >Giving your best position of pride, chest out and shoulders back, you make your way down to investigate. >As you make your way down the hill, you begin wondering about your choices. >You're a dragon, right? >And they're technically considered prey? >But you are more or less not much bigger than they are, maybe 40% at best. >You know what, rethinking it all, you didn't put much thought into this. >Hell, do they even speak your language? >Is it your language? >Maybe you shoul- *SCREAM* >Clenching your ears, you try to recover from the piercing sound. >Squinting your eyes, you bring your head up to find a mare, who is most likely shitting themselves by now, holding up their ar - hooves - in fear. >Having your ears no longer bleeding, you find that the mare has dipped behind a barrel in haste, leaving it tumble back and forth before coming to a halt. >Deciding to show the best of 'you', you make the decision to head on over and show yourself in a good manner. >Moving one of the barrels out of the way, the mare rests shaking, cowering in the corner. >Aware that the barrel has been moved, you hear a faint whisper. >"Please don't hurt me~" the ending coming off more as a squeal than a word. >Well, it was kind of obvious what the problem was here. >Tapping the mare on the shoulder, you opens her eyes to take a quick glance before having half the colour from her face quickly drain. >Real smooth. "Hey, I'm not some evil creature here to rip everyone to shreds." you explain. "Come on out and tell me where I am, who /I/ am and who to get these answers from if you can't obtain them." >The mare, now relaxing slight, still holds a position of shit-scaredness. So you do the only thing you think is right. >Pick them up and drop them on the ground in front of you. >With a *pomf* the mare lands with all 4s spread out and finally snaps out of being completely terrified. >Now able to actually speak properly, the tremble in her voice doesn't provide as much benefit as it should. "Y-you're being serious? You aren't here to slay us all?" >Scoffing on your own words, you explain the situation of yourself carefully. "Look here, Miss..." >"Lemon Eclipse" "Lemon, I don't really know where I am nor do I know who I am. As weird as that sounds. What can you say about any of this?" >"Well, you're a dragon for starters..." >Fucking really. >"And you're at the town of Longthale, Equestria." >Equestria? That doesn't sound anything like what you'd thought it would be. >Well, to be fair, you don't know fuck all for this point on. "Right" you affirm. "I'm a dragon." >The mare nods "Who has entered this land called 'Equestria'..." >"Mhm." "And is ruled by talking horses-" >"P-ponies" "Ponies... and there is no 'safe-haven' nearby that dragons, like myself, actually live." >"Well, yes, in short." >This is just more stupidity on top of the last lot. "Alright, Lemon Clips..." >"Eclipse, ma'am-" "Yea, yea whatever. Who here /runs/ the place? Maybe they have some sort of idea on what my situation is." >"Well, I guess you would be after Mr. Econom. The one who runs this town." >Brilliant, some sort of mayor you guess. "Alright, sure thing. Where can I find them?" >"Erm." Lemon looks a bit hesitant. >"D-don't you think you should be wary of your appearance in town." >Well, she's right. If any subsequent experience is going to end up like Lemon's you ought to be a little more careful. "Good point. And i don't really know where to find this Econom either... Perhaps you could lead me throughout town?" >Perking up at the request, Lemon's shaky voice returns. >"Are you s-sure? I mean, I don't want anything to go wrong but-" "Hey, it will be fine. but I do have one question." >"What is it?" "Do you have a jumper?"
