Sun gently twirled a pebble between her fingers, watching it slowly glow, deform, and turn to hot, gooey muck in her hand. Euch. She tossed it away with a flick of her wrist. It slowly fizzled on the crystal road as she folded her arms and gazed a thousand miles off. Boredom began to set in as she absentmindedly picked up another pebble, squeezed it, and just before it turned to molten stone, tossed it back into the snow and ice banks. She opened her data pad and tapped on Dragon's icon, beginning to compose a message. "Hey" she first wrote. Hmm. She deleted it. "Hi! How are you doing?" Deleted. "Hey, what's up?" Again, removed. She drummed her fingers on the cold metal of the bench armrest. What to write, what to write? She mashed her fingers against the digital keys randomly. Her pinkie crossed a bit too far to the right, and her jumbled mishmash of characters was sent off. Her eyes widened, and she frantically began to tap the screen, hoping to delete the message before it was read. A tiny "R" appeared next to the message. She froze solid as her lover began typing. "Something wrong?" it read. Sun smiled. "Nah, just wanted to talk".
