Falling with Oaken Finish Well, guess I went down the literal Rabbit hole, first thing I remember is falling,"how many times have I dreamt this now, Ten?, Twenty? each time is just as cryptic as the last". It's always the same, A blinding flash of light to start followed through with a expansive dirt tunnel. They last for about a minute or two each in dream time but would take up the whole nights worth of time always ending with a white wall at the end of the tunnel, somehow it doesn't radiate any light but always manages to grab my full attention. It's acts like a mirror, revealing a tan furred pony with fairly dark green mane, the fur just barely reaches the lower parts of the legs revealing a darker tan hooves color, Upon contact with this wall, the descent stops to a slow and the light begins to slowly engulf me, I recall back to my first few experiences with this with bouts of claustrophobia. Once this light reaches my head and mane, the dream ends abruptly, "Reaching Outer Hayven in five minutes, get your stuff together everypony!" I Jump up with a startle and little to no self-awareness bashing my face into bunk above me and sending my glasses flying across to the other end of the bed, arousing some other traveler sleeping next to me to an awake state. "Celestia Damn it Oaken, watch that head of yours, you don't want a concussion this early on" "Sorry" I mutter whilst rubbing away the pain and the sleep away with my hooves, my thoughts begin to return to myself about the situation, I've heard about this town through the rumor mills throughout overheard conversations between ponies who know other ponies who know other ponies. Apparently it's a place for citizens who've lost their memory due a sudden influx of memory loss between citizens, Guess I'm one of these cases, seeing as I can't remember anything from my colt years "But hey it must be a large scale case of stress or something along those lines right?" I think to myself whilst fumbling around searching for the missing glasses, cursing my short nearsightedness. Just as I reach for them the cart reaches to a abrupt stop causing the glasses to bump off the bed towards the floor only to glow with a brown hue and float in place momentarily before returning towards me. "Thanks" I utter as the glasses are placed firmly in place upon my face whilst looking towards the other carriage rider with the same colour hue glow emanating from their head. Shortly after we both depart from the cart outside. "We're at Outer Hayven now, just head a few meters down the path and you'll reach the front gate" The driver says whilst pointing in a direction through a forest whilst fastened to a harness connected to the carriage, "This cart will be here every few days with new faces so keep in touch!" speaks the driver whilst performing a 180 degree turn and begins to head back the way we came through. I wave towards the driver and nod at the other passenger and begin to head towards the town suggested "Hopefully they are looking for ponies to help out with gathering wood and clearing forests, it's like the only real thing I seemed to enjoy during my travels, it helps to deal with and process through my thoughts on a daily basis and proved to be a valuable asset to others, well hey, it's what's kept me fed and alive. Anyway onwards to Outer Hayven!
