| In the last election, Johnson was poopooed in the press and received very little publicity in the news outlets. He was a bad candidate, but he still should have been treated better in the press. |
| We also need public vetting of candidates with truthful, unbiased reporting. Biased reporting contributes heavily to having morons in government. It's also the biggest impediment to getting a good 3rd party candidate for any office. |

| Yeah, unfortunately congress is probably more corrupt than even cynics think, and yeah, I'm not saying the president is powerless, I'm just saying he does have limited power, most presidents seem to try to limit how often executive order is used... |
| I don't think congress is capable of fixing the economy. They are led around by the nose by lobbyists and partisan bickering. Both parties live by the "My way or the highway" mantra and will not compromise. |

| See, citing facts/sources can offer much more legitimacy to arguments. Though at least one or two of those looked kinda biased. I'll also point out that congress has to approve budgets, the president only gets a say if they work with him. |
