>The morning sun seeps through your blinds, waking you. >You attempt to roll away from the light in an attempt to stay in your slumbering bliss. >The plan is disrupted by your alarm clock blaring its siren. >Reluctantly, you arise from your warm sheets to start your day. >Your muscles are still stiff from inactivity to sleep so you waddle to the bathroom and start your day. >The razor you use is getting dull and tugs at your face, but you're into deep now to stop. >Turn the shower on and while the water warms you drop trow and sit on the toilet. 'Tom always said there's nothing like a shit then a shower to really clean out the brown sins your stank-hole produces.' you think to yourself and muster up a chuckle. >It's been about three years or so since you came to this world, at least you think it's been that long you were never good at keeping up with the date back on Earth let alone in magic horse world. >You've found some friends here. >However, you often think of your friends and family back home. >The memories you have with them, the traditions you've been missing out on. >It's always a bittersweet recollection. >Living here isn't hell though, well at first it wasn't. >The town you've resided in has made sure you're comfortable. >Twilight was the first to find you, she was so intrigued by your being that she asked you questions for seemingly hours. >She next introduced you to AppleJack or Apple as you called her. >You like Apple, she and you got along very well due to you both being hard working individuals who cherish close knit families and breaking a good sweat. >Next to make your acquaintance was Rainbow Dash and Rarity. >Rainbow took sometime getting used to due to her loud and boasting nature. >Rarity was kind, but something about her makes you feel she is two-faced. >Pinkie was introduced to you when they all took you to her shop for something to eat. >You don't have much of a sweet-tooth, but she made the best desserts. >Finally, you met Fluttershy. >A timid mare who cared to animals of all shapes and sizes. >You admired that. Back on Earth you were quite the outdoors-man who always appreciated the bounty of nature. >You also thought you and Fluttershy would get along very well. >That's what you thought at least. >The shy timid mare acted strange around you. >It seemed natural given her already pre-cautious nature towards new and unusual things. >But you often caught her staring at you, not in one of curiosity, but of a hidden hunger. >It made you uncomfortable and that's not an easy thing to do. >You kept shrugging it off, but only if you had been wiser. >You could have prevented everything. >A tingling in your legs snaps you out of thought. >You had been sitting on the toilet for so long that the blood started leaving. "Fuck now it's asleep." you say as you get up and shake out your leg. >The warm water rushes over your body, waking up your tense muscles. >Water hitting the floor of the shower drowns out any thoughts. >For only but a few seconds you experience a state of Nirvana where it seems like you're not even within your body anymore. >Knowing about the day you have ahead of you makes you interrupt the blissful thoughtlessness to continue on with your shower. >Once you turn off the faucet, the room is completely silent. >You dry yourself off and get dressed. >Downstairs you prepare a breakfast consisting of eggs, peppers, mushrooms, rice, and some toast. >It's all washed down with a glass of water. >Before exiting your house, you grab a jacket, it's getting chillier everyday. >Stepping outside, you lock the door behind you and ogle at the scenery surrounding you. >It's turning into fall here. >Leaves are changing colors, temperatures are cooling, and there's the scent in the air of decaying life which oddly smells very refreshing. >Walking down the brick road, you wave at the friendly townsponies who always seem to be in high spirits. >Ponyville is quite the charming town, especially in the fall. >Local farmers bring their harvest to sell at the market. >Trees that line the streets turning into richly colored golds and reds. >It's picturesque really. >You continue walking and waving, enjoying the trip. >You stop by the florist, Daisy, to pick up a lovely bouquet of flowers. >She make small talk with you, nothing important really just the, 'how are you doing?' and the normal catching up. >Arriving at your destination you lookup at the sign. >'Ponyville Cemetery' >Without wasting more time you enter the land of the dead. >Gravestones stick out of the ground marking the as a reminder of a life once lived. >Your shoes leave marks on the neatly cared for lawn. >It's almost like your leaving a trail for the spirits to follow you. >Finally, you stop at a dark marble tombstone. >Engraved in it, "Octavia Melody". >Under her name is written "May the heavens enjoy your angelic notes as much as we did." >Standing there, you stare at the reminder of who you lost. "If only I'd been wiser" you say to the field of souls as you run your fingers over the engraved lettering. "If only.". >The colorful bouquet shines even brighter against the black marble of Octavia's tombstone. "It's been rough without you here. I'm getting along fine, but I don't have you to nag me about my cleanliness or manners." You chuckle to yourself as tears begin to form in your eyes. >You give a rather hard sniff and wipe your eyes to prevent the floodgates from breaking. "Spike's becoming quite the young dragon, he's taken a liking to music too which I'm sure you'd be delighted about." >Spike always looked up to you for some weird reason. >He'd always say 'you're a real man's man!' >He'd copy you all the time and at first it annoyed you, but you saw this as an opportunity to have an almost family connection with something here. >So you took him under your wing like a protege, but you thought of him as a little brother. >He would always try hanging out with you and you always felt a little bad when you'd have to tell him no. >Some of the no's were due to you spending time with Octavia, which made the young dragon a little jealous. >Eventually Octavia asked for Spike to come along with you and her on a picnic and the three of you had a blast. >By the end of the evening you joked, "Oooh should I be worried about Spike, Octavia? Do I have competition now?". >A red hue replaced the dragons purple complexion which made you laugh even harder. "He misses you too. He wanted to come today, but I think it's hard for the little guy, he's still so young." >Silence falls on you once again. "I'll get her, I promise you I will. I'll kill her even if it kills me." >Your jaw tightens as anger erupts into your system. "She took what was precious to me and I won't ever forget that." >You touch the black marble one more time before saying a final goodbye and taking off. >You begin the trek back to the town square to meetup with your friends. >"Well Howdy Anon!" A southern draw turns your attention to the right. "Apple! It's so nice to see you again!" >You and AppleJack exchange a friendly hug >She had to move to Canterlot for a bit for 'training'. >You weren't given the details of the training but you assumed it was important. >"How ya holding up partner?" "I'm doing fine, thank you." >She awkwardly rubs her leg with her hoof. >"How are you doing since the accident?" She asks in a soft, quiet tone. >AppleJack had been in Canterlot when Octavia died, so she wasn't really around and had heard about it a week or so after the funeral from Twilight. >You were too distraught to say anything to anyone so you couldn't tell Apple yourself. >'Accident?' You think to yourself. >'What happened was no accident, but that devil was able to cover her tracks.'you think as the rage starts returning to you, but you quickly calm it down. "It's been hard , but I'm doing my best." >A smile returns to your friends face. >"That's what ah like ta hear" "Come on the others are waiting on us." You motion for your friend to follow you. >Arriving at a quaint cafe you are met with happy familiar voices. >Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow... and her, are all here. >You stare down Fluttershy as the other mares go in to greet their friend they hadn't seen in awhile. >She stares back with a small smirk. >Just looking at her face gives you the urge to kill. >Standing not but five feet from you was the very thing that took away your happiness. >And you couldn't do a thing about it. >She's one of the Elements of Harmony, she's above the law.
